Power House is a ministry that is focused on kids. Why kids?

According to George Barna, 2 out of 3 born again Christians (64%) accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before their 18th birthday. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Kids are impressionable, moldable. You can mold them into what ever kind of person you want them to be. Hitler understood this concept and created Hitler’s Youth. Through Hitler, millions of children in Germany were taught a doctrine of hatred. Turn that around, give them God’s Word, and their lives will be forever changed for the good.

Power House is a preventative ministry reaching kids before the bottle touches their lips, before the needle touches their arm, before they make the wrong decision that will send their life in a downward spiral. Our goal is that these kids will first and foremost develop a personal relationship with Christ, and secondly come to know Him through discipleship in such a way that they continue to make positive life decisions all the way through adulthood. This is why children are the focus of Power House.
