Power House Christmas is the biggest event that we oversee. In years past, we would bus our Power House kids and parents here to the church for one big event. For the last two years, we have had Power House Christmas at each of our 6 locations. We have found that by having Power House Christmas in the neighborhoods more parents attend. And the volunteers who come out to serve just for Power House Christmas are more likely to come back and volunteer on a regular basis.
This year’s Christmas was awesome. The kids had a great time, they received a goody bag filled with candy, a toy, and other items. Every parent received a small gift. Most importantly everyone who attended experienced God’s love. In total attendance, we had 404 children and parents, 91 volunteers with 21 decisions for Christ.
